Lyrics:

Oh I love to hear the stories
The stories of how you were
Cause I don’t remember much It all seems so obscure

So I’ll set my sights on the future now
For the day we meet again
Watch out for me as you always have
And you can bet, I’ll do all I can to…

Pull out all the stops to make you proud
Make my way through the clouds
Push open the door and shout out loud…

It’s good to be home,  good to be home
Home with you

Oh I love to see the pictures
The pictures of you with us
And you left us in good hands
With one in whom we could trust

Oh but he is with you now
And we’ll all meet again
Watch out for me cause I don’t know when

I’ll make my way through the clouds
And push open the door and shout out loud

Home with you, is where I want to be
Home with you, where I’ll finally see
Home with you, the one I love so much
Home with you, and your tender touch

I’ll make my way through the clouds
Push open the door and shout out loud

Inspiration:

"Home With You" is a genuine tribute that speaks to the heart of most of us who desire to be "home" with the ones we love, both in our hearts and our actual homes.

"I wrote the lyrics and melody on the train from Manhattan to Boston in the Summer of 2004. It's a long ride (4.5 hours) and I was thinking of my cousin Sean and his Dad (my Godfather). Sean had tripped his Dad mistakenly when he was 7 and his Dad passed away 2 days later. He's been living with that for 35+ years now, and "Home With You" is my tribute to them.

It's our hope that when people hear the song, they can be "home" with the ones they love whether or not they are still in this world, or another."

The goal of "Home With You" is to uplift the spirit of everyone who hears it and comfort the ears of those that wish to be home with the ones they love, in whatever aspect that means to them.

Most Sincerely,

-Boz
